Tahith Chong scores twice in Man Utd U23 win

Manchester United U23 defeated Sunderland yesterday 3-0.

Tahith Chong scored twice as United beat Sunderland in Premier League 2, despite being down to 10 men since the 26th minute.

George Tanner's red card had seemed to hand the Black Cats the advantage, after Chong's early goal was little more than the Reds deserved for an imposing start.

However, Chong provided the assist for DJ Buffonge to add a second before scoring the third himself as Ricky Sbragia's side comfortably overcame his former club at Leigh Sports Village.

The result continues United's unbeaten start to the campaign and takes the boys to the top of the table ahead of next week's opponents Wolves.
