Dusan Tadic was happy with Southampton's performance during their victory over Vitesse in the first leg of the Europa League qualifiers on Thursday night.
Southampton strolled to a 3-0 victory over Dutch side Vitesse in the first leg of the third round of qualifiers for Europe's second tier club competition and the Saints now take a commanding advantage into the next leg in the Netherlands next week.
Winger Dusan Tadic was left very pleased with his side's display on the day and told the Daily Echo: "Yes, it was a good result.
"Three-zero is a good result. First half I think we played good, we pressed them well and we didn't give them so much space, but I think second half was not so good and we can improve much more second half."
Graziano Pelle, Tadic and Shane Long were all on target as the south coast club set themselves up for a crack at the Europa League play-offs by comfortably accounting for Vitesse.
