Wojciech Szczesny says he wants to join AS Roma permanently from Arsenal this summer.
The Polish goalkeeper moved to the Italian capital on a season-long loan deal in July last year and has been a strong performer for the Giallorossi who are on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League.
Szczesny, 26, has revealed that he wants to make his move to the Stadio Olimpico less temporary and admits that the two clubs are discussing the possibility of a deal being done.
"It's not all up to me, obviously," said Szczesny, who has made 31 Serie A appearances and a further eight in the Champions League for Roma.
"I want it to happen, and I know Roma and Arsenal are talking about it."
