Melbourne Victory scored three 2nd half goals in seven minutes to almost secure one of the best comeback victories in A-League history against Sydney FC tonight. 2 nil down in the 65th minute, Melbourne fought back to take a shock 3-2 lead by the 73rd minute before a late Shannon Cole goal for Sydney secured the draw for the reigning champions.

Victory captain Kevin Muscat will want to forget this match in a hurry, after his uncharacteristic defensive error gifted the home side the opening goal.
After Terry McFlynn doubled the scoreline early in the second half it looked like being a long trip home for the Victory, but a fortunate goal to Leigh Broxham had his side back in the hunt in the 66th minute.
Two goals in seven minutes, the first to Dugandzic and the second to Billy Celevski, on his return to action after a long absence due to injury, shocked the home crowd into silence.
