Sydney FC have named StarTrack as their principal front-of-shirt sponsor for their 2016 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League campaign, reports, .
StarTrack, the parcel delivery business owned by Australia Post, will receive branding on the front of the club's playing shirts and training kits throughout the 2016 tournament.
StarTrack was a major partner of Sydney FC for the 2013/14 season and became a premium partner of the club in 2014.
Under the terms of that deal, the company receives logo placement on the back of the club's shirts for games in the A-League, the top tier of professional soccer in Australia, until the end of the 2016/17 season.
"We have had an excellent start to our Hyundai A–League campaign so far and we are very hopeful we can take that form into the AFC Champions League.
"Progress into the knock-out stage of the competition is our initial goal and this will have huge benefits for both Sydney FC and StarTrack in terms of brand exposure in Asia."
The executive general manager of parcel & e-commerce services at Australia Post, Bob Black, said: "We have only had positive dealings with Sydney FC through our StarTrack partnership so the chance to become a front-of-shirt sponsor for the AFC Champions League was an opportunity we couldn't pass up.
"I've no doubt this will further cement our links with the club and enable StarTrack to increase its presence and brand across Australia and in Asia."
