Sydney FC notch up seven on the trot with win over United

Sydney FC notched up their seventh pre-season win on the trot with a 1-0 result over state league side Sydney United last night.

A late goal to youngster Rhyan Grant was the difference between the sides in a tight match played in wet conditions.

The Sky Blues take their unbeaten run into their first A-League pre-season match this weekend against new club, North Queensland Fury in Cronulla.

The game gets underway at 7pm at Shark Park, following a curtain-raiser between State Premier League sides, Sutherland and Marconi.
