Swindon Town are chasing Southampton striker Lee Barnard.
The Daily Star says Swindon boss Paolo Di Canio has lodged an ambitious £500,000 bid to sign Southampton striker Barnard, 28.
The striker has been in fine goal scoring form for Saints in preseason.
