ChampionshipNorwich City first-team coach Mike Phelan has left the club by mutual consent, only two months after arriving at Carrow Road. Phelan, who was assistant to Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, had approached City about leaving the club.
The 52-year-old has departed 12 days after Alex Neil's appointment as manager of the Championship side.
Phelan initially arrived to work under former boss Neil Adams, who stood down at the beginning of January.
