Blackburn are on the verge of signing of Swedish starlet Filip Pivkovski. The 15-year-old striker is currently with Malmo.

"He is a very gifted striker from our academy," Malmo youth coach Staffan Tapper told Aftonbladet.

"Blackburn were pleased with him after his try-out and have now asked him if he would be interested in moving.

"It is now up to him."

Malmo praised the Premier League side's approach.

"We ourselves are on the look-out for young players, so there is nothing strange about that. Blackburn have approached us in the correct manner, going first to the club and not behind our backs," added Tapper.
