Swedish great Henrik Larsson says he enjoyed is time with Barcelona.

Larsson's spell with Barcelona was incredibly successful, despite his advancing years, and the former Celtic goalscorer has revealed how he told Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi the importance of continuing to work hard.

"I told them, I have seen many good players who stop being so after a while, because they stop doing the things which made them good," Larsson detailed in an interview with Sky Sports.

"They quickly saw that I could play and that they could take advantage of my presence there.

"My wife called me and told me that Barcelona were interested, I said they would have to wait, but she replied that she didn't think Barcelona waited."
