Swansea winger Roberts sorry losing Sheffield Utd signing McBurnie

Swansea City winger Connor Roberts is sorry to be losing Oli McBurnie to Sheffield United.

McBurnie scored 24 goals last season and new Swansea head coach Steve Cooper now has a huge void to fill.

Wales international Roberts said: “The goals Oli scored for us last year were huge and much needed and we'll need them again this year if we're to stand a chance.

“We'll have to get on with it and score from all over the pitch. I've scored in pre-season and got five last year. I'm an attacking full-back, but if you take Oli out of the equation I was third top goalscorer with Bersant Celina last season.

“That's not great if the right back is scoring the third most goals. We need goals from all over the field and hopefully everyone can chip in."
