Swansea winger Daniel James drops Man Utd hint on social media

Swansea City winger Daniel James has hinted at an imminent move to Manchester United after his social media activity.

Some reports claim the Red Devils are very close to completing a £15million deal for the Welshman, and a number of United fans have started following him on his various social media platforms.

One fan came across a tweet posted by James last season, when Liverpool were playing Roma in the semi-final of the Champions League, says the Mirror.

Mohamed Salah netted twice in the Reds' 5-2 victory over the Italian giants in the first leg, prompting a young James to take to Twitter.

The Swansea City winger wrote: "Salah is some player," alongside the fire emoji.

For more than a year the tweet lay dormant until the aforementioned one Man United fan came across it and brought attention to it.

"You better delete this if you join bro," wrote the fan, in response to it on social media.

And James deleted the social media post from a year ago, although it cannot be confirmed whether the 21-year-old did so in direct response to the message.
