Former Liverpool winger Gary Mackay-Steven is being lined up for a return to the Premier League.
The Daily Mail says Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion had scouts watching Dundee United winger Mackay-Steven on Thursday.
The 24-year-old scored twice in United's 6-2 derby win over Dundee.
Mackay-Steven, a Scotland international, was at Liverpool at a teenager.
