Swansea tell Everton: You must offer £40m for Sigurdsson

Swansea City have told Everton that they must pay £40m if they want to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson, according to The Sun.

The report suggests the Swans are looking for £15m more than what Everton offered for the Icelandic midfielder last summer.

Sigurdsson helped save Swansea from relegation last season, scoring 9 goals and providing 13 assists for the season.

Everton, on the other hand, have had an active week in the transfer market, having made Jordan Pickford the most expensive British keeper ever and signing Ajax captain Davy Klaassen.
