Swansea City are plotting a move for Colombian striker Luis Muriel, according to reports from Wales Online.

Having flirted with relegation for majority of the season last year, the Swans will be hoping for a much better campaign next term and in order to do so, the Welsh side will most certainly have to strengthen their squad during the summer transfer window.

According to reports, Swansea boss Paul Clement is looking to bolster his attacking lineup and has targeted a move for Sampdoria striker Luis Muriel.

Muriel enjoyed a strong season in Italy last year, scoring 13 goals as well as providing 9 assists in all competitions and it is believed that Swansea are currently plotting a swoop for the 26-year-old.
