Swansea City striker Leroy Lita has apologised for his night in the cells.
Lita has apologised to Swansea fans following his arrest outside a London hotel on Sunday night.
After the ex-England Under 21 striker was fined for being drunk and disorderly, he tweeted: "Sorry to all the Swansea fans for that negative story."
Metropolitan Police officers were called to a disturbance outside London's Mayfair Hotel, a regular haunt for high-profile stars.
The incident is understood to have involved Lita and a taxi driver, reports the Daily Mail.
