Swansea City are still hopeful of signing Fernando Llorente from Sevilla.
The Welsh club have been heavily linked with the Spanish striker in recent times but reports earlier this week indicated that they had missed out on him after his agent suggested he would be staying put.
However, it is believed that Francesco Guidolin remains in the race as new Sevilla boss Jorge Sampaoli is not too keen on Llorente.
The 31-year-old former Athletic Bilbao and Juventus forward is also a target for clubs in Germany and Italy.
