Swansea set sights on Man City defender Denayer as Williams replacement

Swansea City have identified Manchester City defender Jason Denayer as a potential replacement for Ashley Williams.

The Daily Express, citing sources in Belgium, claim that the Swans are preparing to make a move for the Belgium international who is way down the pecking order at City under Pep Guardiola.

The 21-year-old, who signed for City in 2013, has spent his last two seasons on loan spells at Celtic and Galatasaray respectively.

Former Swansea captain Williams joined Everton in a £12m move earlier this month and Francesco Guidolin is determined to fill the void with another quality central defender.
