Swansea seek new deal for Man Utd's Brandy

Swansea City have sounded out Manchester United about taking Febian Brandy on-loan for the new season.

Brandy spent the second half of last season at the Liberty Stadium, making a major impression and scoring three times.

And with the youngster unlikely to make the breakthrough to senior ranks on a regular basis this term, Swansea boss Roberto Martinez thinks Ferguson will let Brandy leave the European champions for a limited time.

"Fabian settled in straight away when he came to us," he told swanseacity.co.uk. "He loved every second of his time here and you could see him improving every day.

"He was slowly fulfilling the Premier League potential he has and now we are waiting for the go-ahead to sign him on a season-long loan.

"I have spoken to Fabian about it and I know he is very keen to come back."
