Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis believes all the hard-yards over the summer have helped him start strongly in the new Premier League season.
Gomis has scored in both of Swansea's opening games and is focused on improving on the 10 goals he scored last year in his first season with the club.
"Scoring goals is great for my confidence," he told the club's website. "I worked hard in the summer to come back fit and raring to go.
"My aim is to score more goals than last year and show a different side to myself at Swansea. I'm happy with my start to the season but it's more important that the team has started well with good results."
