Swansea City are considering a deadline day swoop for West Bromwich Albion defender James Chester, according to reports from the Daily Mirror.
Chester has struggled for regular first team football since joining Albion from Hull City in a £8million deal in the summer and as a result, the Welshman has been touted to leave The Hawthorns before the January transfer window slams shut on Monday night.
According to the reports, it has been suggested that the Swans are interested in signing Chester on deadline day and the 27-year-old is also keen on a move to the Liberty Stadium as he looks to salvage his place in the Wales squad ahead of Euro 2016.
