Swansea planning £5m move for Tottenham striker Adebayor

Swansea City are being linked with a summer move for Emmanuel Adebayor.

According to the Daily Star, the Welsh club could go after the Tottenham striker with a £5million bid even if they manage to keep Bafetimbi Gomis at the club.

Frenchman Gomis has been heavily linked with the UAE club but even if Swansea hang onto him, could bolster their strikeforce with Adebayor who is on the outer at White Hart Lane.

The Swans have already signed Portuguese forward Eder from Sporting Braga this summer, as well as Ghanaian winger Andre Ayew from Marseille, but could still make a play for former Arsenal and Manchester City man Adebayor as a replacement for Wilfriued Bony who left the Liberty Stadium for City in January.
