Swansea City have parted company with manager Steve Cooper by mutual consent.
The Championship outfit reached the playoff in the past two seasons, but Cooper was not happy behind the scenes.
It has been reported that Cooper did not feel the club was heading in the right direction.
There is interest in Cooper from Premier League clubs, but he may have to wait for a job opening to emerge in the coming months.
Cooper said: "It feels like a good time for all parties to make a change."
Swansea's chief executive, Julian Winter, added: "We felt as a club that the situation needed clarity and with a new season edging closer, the mutual nature of this decision allows both parties a chance to look forward."
