Swansea let Kuqi go

English championship club Swansea City have mutually terminated the contract of Shefki Kuqi.

The 34-year old Finnish striker has become a free agent after allowing the Swans to end his contract, which begun when he joined from German outfit TuS Koblenz in January 2010.

Reports suggest there are a few clubs already showing interest in the experienced forward who has had stints with HJK Helsinki, Stockport County, Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town, Blackburn Rovers, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Derby County.
