Swansea keeper Fabianski admits to emotional Arsenal return

Lukasz Fabianski was back on the Emirates Stadium pitch for the first time since he left Arsenal last summer.

The Polish goalkeeper was Man of the Match as Swansea City strangled the Gunners before winning 1-0 thanks to a late header from Bafetimbi Gomis.

Fabianski, who spent seven years in north London, produced a number of fine saves to deny his former club and he admits there was some sentiment prior to kick-off.

"I was a little bit emotional before the game, but then when you step onto the pitch you just focus on the game," he said.

"It's always nice to show yourself at the Emirates against your former team, you always try to - this is only my first game coming back - but you try to be positive in the game and stay focused to help the team."
