Swansea City are eyeing Chelsea striker Danny Sturridge.
The Daily Mail says Brendan Rogers is planning an audacious bid to take Sturridge to Swansea City in the January transfer window.
Former Chelsea reserve and youth team coach Rodgers spoke to Carlo Ancelotti over a one-month loan move for the striker ahead of Thursday's emergency loan deadline.
Chelsea rejected the initial approach for Sturridge, who scored the equaliser in the 2-1 Champions League home win over MSK Zilina, but a temporary deal could be on in the New Year.
