Swansea City fullback Angel Rangel says Ben Davies deserves greater recognition.
Davies has been outstanding for Swans this season.
"Maybe because he's Welsh he doesn't get as much recognition," Rangel told the South Wales Echo. "But I think now people are realising just how good Ben is.
"What he has done is very similar to Luke Shaw: coming in from the youth team and performing the way he has in the Premier League.
"It's so difficult for anyone to show that level of quality at that age but Ben is making such a difference in the team for us.
"He can score goals and be an attacking option as he showed against West Brom and Arsenal, and physically he is above everyone - he can run for fun.
"And he has great technique; he has everything, he is the complete full-back.
"He is playing with confidence too which he showed against Arsenal. It is good to see them both getting recognition as full-backs - but especially now Ben because he deserves to be considered right up there."
