Real Betis have opened the door for defensive midfielder Jose Canas to join Swansea, reports talkSPORT. Swans boss Michael Laudrup has been linked with a bargain move for Canas, who could be available for less than £1m.
And Betis manager Pepe Mel says the decision to sign the 25-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, is now in Swansea's hands.
"It has been decided, unless the Swansea says otherwise, that Canas continues here until June 30," Mel said.
