Swansea striker Bafetimbi Gomis is nearing a move to Galatasaray, according to the BBC.

The 31-year old spent last season on loan at Marseille and it was expected that he would look to complete a permanent deal.

However, it has now been revealed that Gomis will have a medical in Turkey within the next 48 hours.

Swansea will receive a fee of £1.7m for the player they signed from Lyon in 2014.

Gomis scored 13 goals in 36 appearances for the Swans.
