Alan Curtis will help prepare Wales' national team for their next two Euro 2012 qualifiers after Brian Flynn was promoted to take temporary charge of the senior squad. The Swansea first team coach usually works alongside Flynn with the Under-21s when the international schedule breaks up the Championship fixtures, meaning it will not affect his role at the Liberty Stadium.

Instead of working with the youth set-up, Curtis will now help prepare the likes of Craig Bellamy and Gareth Bale for their crucial double header against Bulgaria and Switzerland next month.
