Swansea eyeing Leeds attacker Sam Greenwood

Swansea City are eyeing a loan deal for Leeds United attacker Sam Greenwood.

The Swansea Independent says Swans boss Russell Martin is keen to sign Greenwood after having two previous offers rejected by Leeds.

Despite the Whites recently stalling the talks, Swansea are now confident they're close to get the deal done, which would see the forward spend the second half of the season in South Wales.

Greenwood made his Premier League debut during Leeds' 4-1 defeat against Arsenal earlier this month, coming on as a second-half substitute at Elland Road.

He was signed by the Whites in the summer of 2020 upon the club's promotion to the Premier League, when a huge emphasis was placed on under-23s recruitment.

Rhian Brewster is among the whole host of strikers who have impressed on loan at Swansea in the past few years and Greenwood could have a similar impact.
