Swansea City defender Mike van der Hoorn is leaning on a tactical software programme to improve his game.

Launched in 2016 by Loran Vrielink, 'Your Tactical Analyst' is a tutoring system for pro footballers. Along with Van der Hoorn, other clients include Stefan de Vrij (Lazio), Wesley Hoedt (Southampton) and Leroy Fer (Swansea).

"I already had a few messages, but I had left them alone. But then I was not playing and thought: what do I need? In the end I played a couple of games and using it, it went well, I had good feedback and that's why I started using it more," Van der Hoorn told Voetbalzone.

Outstanding for victory over West Ham, the Dutchman added: "I have had moments when I had the thought: this is what we talked about. In possession of the ball, if you want to dribble inside or if you have to provide good solutions: this is also discussed.

"It's surprising you get so much out of it."
