Swansea defender Alfie Mawson has proclaimed that he is going to captain the senior England side one day.
Mawson has been one of the stars for the England U21 side that is set to face their Germany counterparts in the semi-final of European Under-21 Championships on Tuesday.
"I have this image of being a young leader, and that is what I want," said Mawson, 23.
"I want to be a player in five years' time that young players can come to and ask for advice.
"That's the image I want to give off, if I can instil that in people's minds now, it will create better images when I get to be a captain one day."
