Swansea City cult hero Michu believes Martin Odegaard can be a success at Arsenal.

Odegaard has joined the Gunners on-loan to the end of the season from Real Madrid.

Michu told Radio Marca: "Arsenal now has the arrow up and Odegaard near the area can make a difference.

"Maybe, at this age, Real Madrid was too big for him, but he will have quality colleagues around him."

Michu also had a word for Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

He added: "I think Thiago will end up adapting, good footballers do."
