Swansea City are considering a loan move for Kasey Palmer.

The Chelsea midfielder was not one of the eight players released from the club's preseason tour of Ireland last week.

However, Sky Sports says the Blues are still planning on sending the 22-year-old on loan and Swansea are one of the interested parties.

Palmer made 34 appearances for Blackburn Rovers and Bristol City last season.

He also spent time on loan at Huddersfield Town and Derby County.
