Swansea City boss Graham Potter is in talks with Brighton today.
The Daily Mail says the former Ostersunds boss is Brighton's No 1 target and Swansea have allowed the Seagulls to speak to Potter after a season in charge at the Liberty Stadium.
Chris Hughton was dismissed from his role less than 24 hours after end of the campaign - he had kept Brighton in the Premier League for a second season in a row.
Technical director Dan Ashworth has now identified Potter as the man to take over from the 60-year-old.
Potter has had an impressive season with Swansea, taking them to 10th in the Championship, and he is viewed as someone who can help Brighton progress.
