Swansea City boss Paul Clement is happy with the progress of Alfie Mawson.

The 23-year-old joined the Swans from Barnsley last summer, and has quickly established himself at the heart of the defence.

"Alfie is doing well for his age and his relative lack of experience, even at the level below I don't think he's played a lot," said Clement.

"You can see the club made a good signing there.

"At the moment he is playing all the time and learning and improving. I've seen an improvement in him in the time since I've been here.

"If he keeps going like he is, he is going to have a real good future at this club."
