Swansea City boss Paul Clement says Wilfried Bony is ready for a Premier League start.
Clement saw enough in Bony's physical performance in the Carabao Cup win at Reading to suggest he is ready to be thrown in from the start against Watford at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
"I think he is close, he lasted over 80 minutes in this game," he said.
"He had a really good chance in that second half when the ball came across the box and he couldn't direct it into the net.
"He is in good shape, he played 60 minutes for the under-23 team last week and now he has played 80 minutes in this game, so I think he is ready to start now in the Premier League."
