Swansea boost as Routledge signs new deal

Wayne Routledge has signed a new three-and-a-half year contract with Swansea City, reports the South Wales Evening Post. The 28-year-old winger had 18 months left on his current deal, and he has been rewarded for a season in which he has scored five goals from 29 appearances.

The former Tottenham and Newcastle player is the second player to commit his future to the Swans in the last week after top-scorer Michu extended his stay at the Liberty Stadium until 2016.
