Swansea board needs to be patient in search for new manager - Britton

Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton has urged the club hierarchy to take their time in finding the perfect replacement for sacked manager Garry Monk.

Alan Curtis is currently in charge of the Swans as they sit in 18th position in the league table and Britton feels he is the right man to take care of things as the board search for Monk's successor.

"The main thing is the board take their time and get it right," said the 33-year old.

"In the meantime, we have a safe pair of hands in Alan Curtis and Dave Adams.

"Hopefully that gives a bit of confidence that the board can take their time a little bit and make sure they make the right choice."
