Sutton: Young worst ever United captain and worst ever United right-back

Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton has launched a furious attack on Manchester United veteran Ashley Young.

The 33-year-old has been slated for his disastrous display during the Champions League defeat to Barcelona on Wednesday.

Robbie Savage questioned whether Young is worst ever player to wear the armband for United on Saturday Morning Savage.

A number of fans in the audience jeered before TV star Jeff Brazier said: "He's no [Sir Bobby] Charlton, [Denis] Law, [Steve] Bruce is he?

"But he can still be a good captain. You don't have to be a worldie player."

After a short debate, Sutton belted out: "Let's get it right Rob, he's the worst ever United captain and the worst ever United right-back."
