Watford have been slammed for sacking manager Javi Gracia.

The Hornets announced on Saturday that Gracia had been relieved of his duties with former boss Quique Sanchez Flores replacing him at the helm.

Former Blackburn striker Chris Sutton took to Twitter shortly after Watford's announcement to slam the decision and label it a "disgrace".

"Watford sacking of Javi Gracia is a disgrace," tweeted Sutton.

"This can't be justified. Quique Sanchez Flores back in but he was sacked by Watford not so long back? Football is bonkers."
