'Surprised and angry' Cavani rethinking Man Utd plans

Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani is rethinking his plans in England after his three-match suspension for a social media post.

Marca says Cavani is privately surprised and angry over the three match ban for an affectionate post made to a close friend, which also includes a €100,000 fine and orders that he attend an 'educational programme'.

The ruling has shocked and outraged Uruguayan football and Cavani is now considering his future in England. Contracted to United to June, the deal includes an option for another year. Cavani was keen on taking up the option - before the FA's decision.

The striker missed victory over Aston Villa and is also out for the Carabao Cup semifinal against Manchester City and the FA Cup tie with Watford.
