Super agent Nikky Vuksan admits Dinamo Zagreb regarded Melbourne Heart star Mate Dugandzic highly during his time at the Croatian giants.

Vuksan, who was involved in the winger's original move to Dinamo and still has close ties with the club, says football director Zoran Mamic thought he was a big talent.

"Yes, I remember Mate very well, he was the favourite of Dinamo Sport Director Mr. Zoran Mamic," Vuksan recalled to tribalfootball.com.

"I have watched him many times and he has always shown great talent, however at the time, the academy coaches had the opinion that there were other domestic players ahead of him and that it would be better for Mate to go and play someone where he would develop rather then sit on the bench here.

"I'm very glad that he is performing and I hope to see his skills in Europe soon."
