Sunderland winger Billy Knott is delighted to be working with new development coach Kevin Ball.

The 19-year-old worked closely with Ball when he first moved to Sunderland from Chelsea back in 2010. He made an immediate impact in the Academy side and credits that to coach Ball.

"He's given me some great advice," Knott told safc.com.

"I worked with him in the under-18s and he switched me on mentally and I think he made me a better player on the pitch too. He made me really enjoy football."
