Sunderland winger Emanuele Giaccherini says he wants to stay with Bologna.

The Italy international spent this season on-loan at Bologna.

"The future? I want and hope to stay in Bologna: it is here where I came back to certain levels.

"I am a working symbol of Italy? I know where I came from and what I was. I'm a clean person, simple, who in life had the good fortune of being able to play football.

"The factory? Yes, at 16 I did three summer months. I realised I did not want to do that. But I could do so if football didn't turn out well."
