Sunderland have been told they must wait on signing Liverpool midfielder Ben Woodburn.
The Daily Mail says the deal has been delayed because of Philippe Coutinho's move to Barcelona.
Mohamed Salah's recent injury has also clouded matters, seeing the youngster wait before completing his part-time switch to Wearside.
Coleman gave Woodburn his international debut for Wales in 2017 and has worked extensively with Woodburn over the past season.
However, Jurgen Klopp has put a block on the move happening yet with Salah missing Liverpool's last two games with a groin problem and Coutinho negotiating a £140 million transfer to Spain.
