Sunderland striker Mikael Mandron has ended his loan with Hartlepool United due to injury.
Mandron's loan spell at Hartlepool has been cut short by a groin injury.
The 21-year-old striker will now return to parent club Sunderland for treatment.
"We thank everyone at Sunderland for allowing Mikael to spend time with us," boss Ronnie Moore told Hartlepool's official website.
"Unfortunately he's picked up a groin injury and had to go back to the Stadium of Light, but we wish him well and thank him for his efforts."
