David Healy has officially departed Sunderland to join Scottish champions Rangers.
The 31-year old Northern Ireland striker has signed a one-year contract at Ibrox and was overjoyed after the deal was complete this afternoon.
Healy left the Black Cats as a free agent and is looking forward to more success with 'Gers after enjoying a loan spell there last season.
"I'm delighted to have been given this chance," Healy told his club's official website.
"I always said that joining the club in January was a huge honour and it was great to finish last season on such a high after winning the title and getting the double (by winning the CIS Insurance Cup)."
