Sunderland have joined the race for Barcelona striker Eidur Gudjohnsen.
The Daily Mail says Sunderland have made an inquiry for Gudjohnsen, but face competition from West Ham, Fulham and Everton.
The former Chelsea forward admits he would welcome a move to Gianfranco Zola's West Ham.
